Awareness of Quality Assurance

During the meeting of the General Academic Council organized in the framework of the opening of the new academic year, organized on 20 October 2014, the Rector of HEI “Hëna e Plotë” (Bedër)Dr. Ferdinand Gjana, addressed to the academic staff the work that has been conducted by the Quality Assurance Committee in the framework of the quality assurance in preparation for the upcoming accreditation process. In his word the rector congratulated the response of the departments and the academic staff in complying with the requirements of the committee and urged a close collaboration of all academic and administrative units and staff.

In his word, on behalf of the Quality Assurance Committee Mr. Isa Erbas, informed the academic staff about the procedure expected to be followed for the accreditation process, whereby after the initial visit the institution will prepare a self-evaluation report that will be followed by a second visit of the evaluation team. Importance will be given the view of the academic staff and most importantly the students, therefore a far-reaching engagement of the entire institution is essential for the successful accomplishment of the accreditation process
